Gregory Helseth

Gregory Helseth joined Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra as Principal Horn in 2007.  He began horn at the encouragement of his school band instructor between fourth and fifth grade (about 1972).  Since 1983, he has enjoyed playing horn with numerous orchestras on Fourth Horn through Principal Horn; as soloist, clinician, and private teacher, and now, as freelance hornist and stay-at-home dad with two daughters, Cora and Eleanor. He and his wife, Lynn, (a family practice doctor), have two dogs, 13 chickens, and two horses on what could best be described as an in-town-ranch in Tucson, Ariz.
