Lindsay Bartlett

A Virginia native, Lindsay received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from James Madison University in 2007, studying flute with Beth Chandler.  She went on to study with Trevor Wye in Kent, England before beginning her graduate studies with John Bailey at UNL.  In 2009 she interned with the National Symphony Orchestra’s Education Department at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.  Lindsay completed her Masters in Flute Performance in 2010, going on to work in arts education and community engagement at the Lied Center for Performing Arts and the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at UNL.  As Community Partnerships Manager, Lindsay manages individual and corporate giving, foundation and grant support, education and outreach programs, media partnerships, the program magazine, and serves as liaison to the Board of Directors.  In addition to her role with LSO, Lindsay teaches flute at Doane College in Crete, NE and in her home.
