LSO opens its 2023-24 season with Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 in C Minor “Resurrection.” This masterpiece explores the full range of human emotions and features an enormous orchestra, vocal soloists Esther Heideman and Susan Platts, and the combined choirs of Abendmusik, Concordia University Nebraska, Nebraska Wesleyan University, and St. Paul United Methodist Church.
