A violinist by any other name couldn’t possibly sound as sweet! LSO concertmaster Anton Miller takes the stage with Tchaikovsky’s mesmerizing (and fiendishly virtuosic) Violin Concerto. After intermission, LSO brings Shakespeare’s tragic romance to life with excerpts from Prokofiev’s ballet, Romeo and Juliet, and Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy. Two Russian composers, alike in dignity; one fabulous night of music!
