Announcing LSO’s 2022-23 Season

Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra audiences will find favorites to love, and new performers and music to fall in love with, during our 2022-23 season. Together, we’ll enjoy an evening of opera favorites with rising superstar tenor Limmie Pulliam, a newly-composed symphony “Metaclassical” from our composer-in-residence, Dr. Tyler G. White, and concertos by Manuel Ponce and John Williams performed by LSO concertmaster Anton Miller and LSO principal tuba Golden Lund. LSO will be joined by the Lincoln Youth Symphony for a side-by-side performance of Mary Watkins’s Movements in Color, and Daniel Bernard Roumain taps into his Haitian roots as he solos in his own Voodoo Violin Concerto. Orchestral favorites include Brahms Symphony No. 2, Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique, Dvorák’s New World Symphony, Elgar’s Cello Concerto performed by 22-year-old Tchaikovsky Concerto Competition winner Zlatomir Fung, and a Mozart Piano Concerto with Anne-Marie McDermott. Music lovers of all ages will enjoy the Family Series, featuring puppets and an interactive performance from Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program. LSO’s pops concert will feature music from Star Wars and The Mandalorian by John Williams and Ludwig Göransson, and guest conductor Lucas Waldin will celebrate the holidays with LSO and tenor Drew Duncan, Chase the Spirit of Dance, Dancing Beyond Limits, Bell-issimo Handbell Choir, and Lincoln Suzuki Studios. Season tickets offer premium seating and range from $60-$280 (adults) and $20-$40 (youth), with special discounted passes for music students and young professionals.
