Musical Petting Zoos

Musical petting zoos provide children and adults alike the opportunity to get the hands on experience of seeing, touching, and playing real instruments. Volunteers and staff take instruments "on the road" to places like the Lincoln Children's Museum and Family Fun Night at the Lied Center for Performing Arts and introduce children to musical instruments. This unique approach allows children the opportunity to explore with their hands as well as their minds.
